Founded in 2014, The Azraq Education Center is our flagship academic enhancement program in South Azraq, providing education and enrichment opportunities to Syrian refugees and other vulnerable youth.
The program is designed to help Syrian students and vulnerable Jordanians make up for years of missed education, catch up to their appropriate grade level, and develop a love of learning that will carry them through high school and beyond.
The Center hosts over 350 students in pre-K through Grade 12, offering daily instruction in multiple subjects including Arabic, English, Math, Science, and IT. Arts-based enrichment programs throughout the year supplement traditional academics.
